National Black Nurses Co-founder wrote about Generational Curses in ‘Tots Goes To GBARNGA’

Mattiedna Johnson, 1918-2003, born in Mississippi, to a mother who passed the curse to Johnson, her the ‘slave mentality’ curse, that affected Johnson, (Tots) throughout her life, never feeling ‘Enough” but yet co-founded the National Black Nurses Association and contributed to the penicillin research to cure scarlet fever. She wrote about the abuse she endured from her mother and later abuse she took from her husband. Johnson’s daughter, the book’s editor, wrote about how own issues that her mother passed on to her.
